'Lop' together every day

How many of you are married to your best friend?

After being married fifty-four years to the same person, Billy Graham said his secret for love: "Ruth and I are happily incompatible.”

Every couple may have their own secrets for keeping their love strong. One key can and should be finding new ways to add spark to your caffected relationship. We’d love hear and share (with your permission) some of your secrets with others.

In addition to holding hands, Byron and I have invented our own little hop during walks. When one of us initiates the hop the other instinctively repeats it. I’ve yet to see anyone imitate this handy little move, so it’s safe to say it’s our very own distinctive lovehop or shall we say, lop?

Your turn.

The ‘Lop’? Very cute. See, this is one thing that distinguishes us from a lot of couples; we’re not the least bit self-conscious in public about the fact that we’re nuts about each other. And I chose that word carefully. I’m sure a lot of people have seen us ‘lop’ a time or two, and decided that we’re nuts, certifiably so.
Or maybe they just think we’re still a couple of newlyweds? Well, guess what? They’re right. Like a pair of newlyweds, we celebrate our union every day, and we think everyone else should, too. Next time you see us, you’ll know us by our ‘lop’.
